From Springsure we knew that if we put in a big day that we could make it home to Bundaberg. But with me not feeling 100%, because I picked up a flu, we decided to take it a bit easier and have one more stop at one of our favourite places, Cania Gorge.

Just south of Biloela we stopped off at Mt Scoria. It is basically just a hill of rocks, some of which were formed in columns. I had climbed it a long time ago and the views at the top were fantastic. We didn't have time to do any walks or climb it but just wanted to scope it out for a visit next time we were in the area with a bit more time.
We arrived at Cania mid afternoon so this gave us time to have a relax and for me to get the fire setup. It was a lot quieter than when we were here earlier in the year.
It was then off to the bird feeding
