Charleville Trip - Day 3

Day 3 – 22/8/2014 – Roma to Charleville

Basically just a driving day and passing trough some small towns. We stopped for smoko at Mitchell.

There was a fantastic artesian spa complex there, but unfortunately we didn't have time to stop for a swim.

The landscape was also starting to become more dry and sparse.

Lunch stop was at Morven, where we had just missed the local CWA soup kitchen. There were quite a few vaners all pulled up sampling the home made soup.

We arrived mid afternoon at Thirlby Station and set up camp.

We had to have a reasonably early dinner as we were heading out to National Parks office to see the Bilbies that evening.  Unfortunately no flash photography was allowed so this is the best I could get.
