Day 3 - 4/6/2016 - Ilfracombe to Cloncurry
Well we thought we were up early, but Louise had left Barcaldine even earlier and she and the kids were on our door step before we knew it at about 7am. It was a quick hello while we were having breakfast and said we would see them tonight in Cloncurry. They took off ahead of us as we still had to clean, pack and fuel up.

Smoko stop was at Winton while we walked around the main street.
They certainly needed the rain out this way
It was then a quick drive through the town of McKinlay, the home of the Walkabout Creek pub from Crocodile Dundee.

On arriving at Cloncurry we stopped in at the shops to grab some party supplies before setting up camp in Jodies aunty and uncles back yard. That night it was a great party catching up with family we hadn’t seen for years.
