Day 65 – 5/7/2012 – Mandorah Hotel and Mindil Markets
Today we caught the ferry from Cullen Bay over to Mandorah to have lunch at the Mandorah Hotel. It was only a 15 minute ride over calm water. As we were making our way across the bay, a navy boat was leaving.
And how is this for a bit of coincidence.
The boat named after our home town!!!
The pub had a really laid back atmosphere and felt like you were on an island even though you were still on the mainland. It reminded us a lot of Keppel and Morten Islands.

That afternoon we made our way to the Mindil Markets. They are held twice a week and are massive. They attract pretty much every tourist in town. There are thousands there. The food stalls all smelt fantastic. The Chinese that I had tasted as good as it smelt. The people also turn up to watch the sunset over the water.
